Where we're heading
Our vision
Beyond the training programme, this is the direction GK+ is building towards over the seasons ahead.
Who GK+ is for
Boys and girls, U6 to U18
GK+ is for boys and girls from U6 to U18. We are not taking adult goalkeepers at the moment.
That is who the programme is built for. The plans below are separate, and they describe where the centre is heading in the longer term, not what it offers at launch.
The long-term vision
What we are building towards
None of these are open yet. They are the longer-term direction of the centre, shared honestly so you know where it is going.
- An app and digital community
- In time, a dedicated GK+ app and online community for keepers and their families.
- Pathway and opportunities
- A goalkeeper pathway and real opportunities for keepers as they develop, beyond the training programme.
- International collaborations
- Links and exchanges with goalkeeping environments abroad.
- A dedicated women's programme
- A future programme for adult female goalkeepers. It is a long-term plan: GK+ does not take adult goalkeepers today.
- An additional-needs programme
- An inclusive programme for children with additional needs, developed with the right people and expertise in place.
- Modern training tools
- Carefully chosen technology such as reaction glasses, reactive lights and balls, and screens, to support visual awareness, reactions, coordination, scanning and decision-making. Technology should support learning and coaching, never replace it.
